Spiritual Virtues
May 30th, 2009 7:27 PM
Gentleness, kindness, patience, longsuffering, faith, hope, mercy, joy and forgiveness are living precepts. They are called the Fruits of the Spirit, the Holy Spirit or God. When these sacred traits are put into action, you are giving out from your soul where God has promised to meet you, extending Him into the lives of others. The Fruits of the Spirit are Divine vessels of love, delivering the power of God, the power of great Good, the power of Righteousness into all living things.

Whether it be plant, animal or human, all living things in the Universe recognize the presence of their Maker manifesting through the Fruits of the Spirit and respond to His love. Magnifying these virtues in your daily life, elevates your relationships to a Holy level.
You have heard it said that you must let God in, but I tell you that you must also release God out - through the Divine Fruits of the Spirit. It is through giving that we are most like our Father in Heaven, and that which we give out should reflect that which we hold most dear within.
I pray God will replenish your soul as you extend His love to everyone.

Choose Thou
May 25th, 2009 7:55 PM
Life is a purposeful event, for nothing happens to you by chance. You are the author of your own destiny - within the designs of God's plan for you. You were made to be a co-creator with God. If this is true, you are, at least in part, responsible for the great good or hardship you have created in the lives of others, as well as the adversity or growth that you may have experienced personally.
Many people do not want to take responsibility for having created anything grievous. They wish to play the role of the victim. However, God made you to choose. Therefore, you have power to bring about a more perfect outcome based upon your ability to choose wisely.
Choosing is a curious thing, as it is so often influenced by the rod in which you measure it. For, example, something chosen by societal standards may have a completely different value when measured by spiritual standards. Your life, then, is a living record of the choices you have made. Therefore, know deep within yourself in whom you believe, for your beliefs will carry you into Eternity.
I pray God will lead you ever upward by the choices you make.
