Remembrance

    God says "I knew you before you were in the womb." This implies that we were with Him, somewhere, at some time - at least in spirit - before our birth into the earth. Did we also know God as He knew us? Were we aware of His presence back then? And, if so, is it still contained in our memory, somewhere deep inside us today? He says it is: "When you seek Me, you will find Me" and "I will bring all things to your remembrance" - even from the foundations of the earth.
    You have heard it said that you must be born again, that you must be awakened to the Truth in Christ. He cannot be found outside you. The kingdom of Heaven is within you. The very God of the Universe calls out to you in the deepest parts of your conscience: "Behold, I am here. I am with you always. Remember the estate we had in the beginning, when I spoke you into existence. Come home, little child, that we may be once again united. United in purpose. United in heart. United in spirit, that peace may settle over the earth and loneliness be no more."
    You have always had a relationship with God and you always will. Even if you don't remember it, He remembers you and will always carry the hope that you will remember Him.
    I pray you will be still and take time to remember God each day, for your relationship with Him is as old as the Universe itself.
